Harry Potter's Story

Harry Potter is a famous wizard, who has created an entire generation of readers. Through his story, the world has seen many things. There have been times when Harry was filled with anger and resentment after being bullied by his peers for years. The time he was under the evil curse that threatened to take his life. The time he had to go on a dangerous mission to find a very special object that would save him and so many others from death.

There were also moments when Harry experienced pure joy and happiness for the first time in his life - like the time he found out he had friends who cared about him, like Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. And there were times when he got angry, as well as happy: when Ron betrayed him at Malfoy Manor, or when Sirius Black died fighting Voldemort's second reign of terror.

 

The Characters in the Story

Harry Potter is the protagonist of the story. He is an orphan who has lived with his aunt and uncle for most of his life. The Dursleys, Harry's aunt and uncle, treated him badly and never told him about his parents or their magic world.

Harry has two best friends: Ron Weasley, a red-headed boy from a poor family; and Hermione Granger, a bossy know-it-all who always gets her way.

He also has many enemies, like Draco Malfoy, a rich boy who likes to make fun of people; and Severus Snape, the school potions master who hates Harry because he reminds him of someone he used to know.

 

Fantasy or Real?

Never before has a novel captured the imagination of young people as much as Harry Potter. It seems like every child, boy and girl alike, wants to be like the great wizard. But is it all just fantasy?

At first glance, you may think that it is impossible for a story about a little boy who can do magic to be true. But if you think back on your childhood, chances are at least one of your favorite stories was fictional. What is that saying? "Fiction is stranger than truth."

Or maybe you remember hearing similar stories from your parents or grandparents. Their tales might be passed on to their children and grandchildren, who then pass them on to the next generation. Stories are often made up of truths we have forgotten or simply never knew in the first place.

In the final book in the series, Harry told us that he was going to move on. "I've done all I can do," he said. "The world isn't safe while Voldemort's still alive." So, what is the next stage in Harry Potter's life?

There are many speculations as to what may happen to our beloved hero, but only J. K. Rowling knows for sure! Some have speculated that Harry will become a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts once he leaves Hogwarts. Others think that he will take his place among wizards at the Ministry of Magic and keep them up-to-date with information about Voldemort's whereabouts. Still others believe that Harry will continue fighting evil as an Auror for years to come. There are endless possibilities for what may happen next in Harry's life, and we're all waiting with baited breath!
